Thea Morales Espinosa

She holds a Law Degree from the Universitat de Barcelona (2008-2011). She prepared for the public examinations for judges and prosecutors. She completed the Master's Degree in Criminal Law at the Barcelona Bar Association (2013-2014) and specialised in Economic Criminal Law at the Abad Oliva University (2012-2013).
She is qualified to work in the Juvenile Criminal Jurisdiction by the Board of Catalan Bar Associations (Consell dels Il.lustres Col.legis Advocats de Catalunya).
She is accredited as a specialist in Domestic Violence by the Barcelona Bar Association.
She is a Professor of the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) since 2016 and on the Master's Degree in Compliance at Economist&Iurist since 2016.
She speaks English, German, Spanish and Catalan.
She has participated as an author in Bribery&Corruption for Spain in Global Legal Insights 2nd ed. 2014, as well as in several articles.
She has been awarded by the Best Lawyers directory since 2020 and participates in conferences on compliance and corporate criminal law.
Since 2015, she has been advising companies throughout Spain on the implementation of compliance programmes and has given training courses on criminal risks and corporate preventive controls.
She joined Morales Abogados Penalistas in April 2012, and since then has handled all types of criminal proceedings, both as prosecution and defence.
