The Full Court of the Constitutional Court has recently addressed the extent of pre-trial investigative proceedings conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office. Considering the challenges in bringing this matter before the Court and the intricacies involved in admitting amparo appeals, it presented a rather complex scenario for a thorough analysis of the functioning model. Regrettably, the verdict is disappointing and raises concerns about the responsibility of the Public Prosecutor's Office. Below, we will provide the reasons supporting this conclusion.
